Privacy Policy

How ReveIQ handles information when you use our revenue cycle tools. Written in plain English — because you have better things to do than decode legalese.

Effective date: January 1, 2025 Last updated: January 1, 2025
The short version. ReveIQ's free tools run entirely in your browser. We do not collect Protected Health Information (PHI). We do not track your calculations. We only collect the email address you voluntarily submit to the waitlist, along with standard website analytics. That's it.

1. Who we are

ReveIQ is a provider of revenue cycle calculators, clocks, and reference tools for healthcare CDI specialists, coders, revenue cycle analysts, and related professionals. We operate the website reveiqai.com and the associated tools. References in this policy to "ReveIQ," "we," "us," or "our" refer to the operators of this website. References to "you" or "your" refer to any individual visiting the website or using our tools.

2. Information we do not collect

Most of what distinguishes ReveIQ is what we don't do with information:

3. Information we do collect

3.1 Waitlist and contact email

If you voluntarily submit your email address to our waitlist form or any contact form on the website, we collect:

We use this information to notify you of product launches, pricing changes, and ReveIQ updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email from us or by contacting us at the email address listed at the bottom of this policy.

3.2 Privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible)

ReveIQ uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Plausible was deliberately chosen because it does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual users across sessions or websites. Plausible collects the following anonymized aggregate information:

Plausible Analytics is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant by design. It does not build advertising profiles, does not sell data, does not share data with third parties, and does not require cookie consent because no cookies are used. Plausible's privacy practices are documented at plausible.io/data-policy.

This information helps us understand which ReveIQ tools are most useful, where our visitors come from, and how to improve the product. It does not allow us to identify you personally.

3.3 Cookies and similar technologies

ReveIQ does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking purposes. Because our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookie-free, we are able to operate the entire website without cookie consent banners or third-party tracking.

The only browser storage ReveIQ may use is:

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, social media trackers, or persistent identifiers.

However, no system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. ReveIQ does not sell or share personal information as defined by these laws.

7.2 European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland residents

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our legal basis for processing your information under the GDPR is either your consent (for the waitlist) or our legitimate interest in operating the website. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's privacy

ReveIQ is designed for healthcare professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us for prompt deletion.
